Restaurant Style Dining and Therapeutic Diets
The dining experience at Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a culinary treat. In conjunction with our dietitian, our talented chef prepares sumptuous meals that are appetizing while at the same time nutritious.
Scrumptious, wholesome, and appetizing meals are prepared daily taking into account the dietary considerations of our residents. All entrees are freshly prepared in our kitchen daily, using the finest, natural ingredients and using reduced salt and sugar when necessary. Each selection is served with extra touches that make it look and taste delicious. Residents may choose their meal from a “Resident Approved” menu that includes a main entrée as well as an alternate entrée for every lunch and dinner. Special therapeutic diets are provided as specifically prescribed by guest’s attending physician and supervised by a dietician. Clinical dietary staff monitors dining rooms to ensure each resident’s satisfaction of their daily meals.
Guests are encouraged to dine in our cheerful dining rooms with their friends. However, private room service is available when there is a medical necessity.
Holiday meals are celebrated with festive traditions. Special meals such as buffet breakfasts, picnic lunches, Father’s Day Breakfast, Mother’s Day Brunch, and Sweetheart Luncheons become social events and are greatly enjoyed by residents. Family members may enjoy sharing a meal or a holiday meal in our facility and are welcome to join residents at any time. Advanced registration for guest meals is appreciated. Nominal fees are charged and may be paid at the Reception Desk.
Each care community unit also houses a fully stocked kitchenette, which ensures constant availability of beverages and light refreshments anytime of the day or night. Delicious snacks and nutritional supplements are provided per the request and/or need of our residents. Residents are invited to join morning coffee hour, enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee while talking with friends or reading the morning newspaper.
